DIZPOT CEO, John Hartsell to co-host MITA’s Election Night Coverage
Hartsell joins other Cannabis industry leaders in Arizona as they await election results on AZ Prop 207
PHOENIX— October 29, 2020 — The Marijuana Industry Trade Association (MITA) in Arizona will be hosting an online watch party on Election Night 2020. This virtual event on Tuesday, November 3rd, 2020 (at 6pm MST) will feature Cannabis industry leaders in Arizona as they react to election result updates. On the ballot is AZ Prop 207 – a decision that could legalize adult usage of Marijuana in Arizona. For the Cannabis industry, it will be one of the most pivotal moments in its history. If successful, industry leaders in other states will look to use Arizona’s legalization path as a road map.
John Hartsell (CEO of DIZPOT) will bring a unique perspective to the coverage as his background in political advertising and lobbying on behalf of the Cannabis industry – before he founded DIZPOT – gives viewers an insightful look at the politics involved in getting a proposition of this magnitude to pass.
Hartsell (along with business partner, Jeff Scrabeck) have invested over $35,000 in Arizona’s Smart & Safe campaign through their Cannabis packaging company, DIZPOT. Along with the financial contributions, DIZPOT donated 180,000 Smart & Safe: “YES” on Prop 207 exit bags to medical marijuana dispensaries throughout Arizona.
